Garage Sales Followed by Clean Up Day
Albion Townwide Garage Sales take place July 16,17,18. Click here for details and a map.July 25, 2020 is Albion Clean Up Day. 6a.m.-12p.m.
The Clean-Up will begin at 6:00 a.m. & continue until all items are picked up. Items need to be at the curb by 6:00 a.m. (NO ALLEY PICK-UPS).We will go down each street one time. There will be no backtracking for anyone late in putting out items.
Appliances - NO CHARGE for appliances without Freon (washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwave ovens, hot water heaters, etc.). Items containing Freon will cost $70.00 each, such as, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, & de-humidifiers, etc.
Electronics: A drop off site for electronics will be available at the Albion Municipal Building located at 211 East Park Drive, Albion. Items may be dropped off on Saturday, July 25th from 8:00 AM – Noon ONLY! You must show a water bill or another utility bill to show proof of residency. Noble County Disposal WILL NOT pick up electronic items (Computers, Printers, VCRs, Stereos, Televisions, DVD & CD players) at the curb!
Tires: Tires are $10.00 each for 16” or smaller WITHOUT RIMS
Tires are $15.00 each for 16” or smaller WITH RIMS
Tires are $15.00 each for 17” or larger WITHOUT RIMS
Tires are $20.00 each for 17” or larger WITH RIMS
Tractor tires are $20.00 each WITH OR WITHOUT RIMS
Wood cut into 4-foot pieces, bundled so that it can be handled easily.
Carpet needs to be in 4-foot rolls and tied
ITEMS REQUIRING PAYMENT MUST BE PREPAID AT THE ALBION MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 211 EAST PARK DRIVE, AND TAGGED PRIOR TO SPRING CLEAN-UP! (YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE THE PAYMENT BEFORE 4PM ON FRIDAY, JULY 24th!)
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR ITEMS TAKEN OFF THE STREET PRIOR TO SPRING CLEAN UP! NO EXCEPTIONS.

No Construction Materials or Hazardous, Materials (wet paint, oil, household cleaners, etc.). Yard Waste, Concrete, Electronics, Fluorescent Bulbs, Normal Household Trash, Roofing and/or Construction Materials
Due to escalating costs for providing curbside service,
the size of disposal piles for pickup will be limited to an area
NO LARGER THAN 8’ X 8’ X 4’.
This service is for residential taxpayers of the Town of Albion. Please help us control costs by not allowing items to be brought in from outside of Town limits.The future of this program depends upon you!
Goodwill Donation Drive July 25, 2020
Are you in the middle of cleaning and don’t know what to do with those items you no longer want? The Goodwill Donation Drive could be your answer.
In conjunction with the Town of Albion Clean Up Day, the Albion Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Goodwill donation drive on Saturday, July 25 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., or until truck is full. The Goodwill Truck will be located in the parking lot across the street from the Albion Post Office. Please take advantage of this opportunity to donate useable items to this charitable organization.
Items being accepted will be: Clothing and shoes; jewelry and other accessories; house wares and small working appliances;
linens; art; rugs; furniture in good condition (ask yourself if you would give it to your best friend or relative); books; antiques; collectibles; CD’s/records/tapes; videos; sporting goods; musical instruments; computer software; toys and games.
Items not accepted by Goodwill: Cribs; baby walkers; net playpens; swing sets; stained mattresses; waterbeds; woodstoves;
Electric or kerosene heaters; used barbecue grills; air conditioners; used Venetian or mini blinds; used rug pads; shower doors; wire hangers; office dividers; fluorescent lighting fixtures; stoves; refrigerators; dishwashers; washing machines; dryers; paint/paint thinner or other flammable substances; poisonous or hazardous chemical and substances; car batteries or other corrosive materials; used tires; used motorcycle and bicycle helmets; perfumes and toiletries; and food items.
