We Are In This Together

We are in this together.  See a message from Governor Holcomb: here: https://www.INthistogethercampaign.com/#flattenthecurve

Everyone is feeling the effects of the Covid-19 virus, whether you know someone sick or have had to change how you work, the impacts of this global pandemic are touching us all. We all need to be careful and follow directives from our officials such as the Governor's, the CDC and our lcoal Emergency Management. But let's not panic, we are in this together and can manage ourselves with good habits and good information.

*  Be aware of your hands, keep them clean and resist touching your face - this is critical if you are going out in public. The virus is spread primarily from hand to mouth.
*  You don't have to be scared of your neighbors but stay about 6' away from others when you talk with them to reduce the spread of the virus, practice social distancing
*  Set boundaries for yourself by staying in smaller social circles and stay home as much as possible.  Keep your morale up by checking on your family and friends by phone, facetime, texts - stay connected while staying home.
*  If you go out for carryout food or essential supplies, wear a mask, scarf or bandana to protect yourself and others. You may have been exposed but show no symptoms.
*  Go outside, take a walk, but keep distance from others as you exercise and take care of yourself
* Look for local resources. The local grocery is open.  Restaurants are serving carryout meals. There are several programs for small businesses forced to cut back or shut down to get assistance - look to the Noble Economic Development Partnership for notices or Albion Chamber of Commerce for suggestions.  Reach out if you need help.
